HOTEL SMY PUERTO DE LA CRUZ

The renovation of the SMY Puerto de la Cruz Hotel, a landmark in the city’s tourism history, has been carried out with the aim of creating a total landscape, blending aesthetics linked to Canarian nature and César Manrique’s landscaping of the pool area. In line with this, natural materials such as wood, vegetation, textiles, and natural fibers have been used, together with heterogeneous lighting, seeking to individualize the different spaces that connect the user with the collective from their particular experience. The project has covered all the common areas of the hotel to offer a unique experience, as well as the rooms, which have a sophisticated aesthetic in relation to the natural environment and a design that allows for flexibility of use.
