Fontana is the space created by bathroom company Bathco, designed by Alfaro-Manrique and presented at CASADECOR 2024.
The space is a journey.
A journey to a hotel that welcomes us, that opens its doors to a city that tells stories, that speaks to us of its streets and squares with fountains where water murmurs, where cobblestone floors shine, where our bodies are reflected in puddles, glass, and mirrors.
Space is a stroll through the city of Rome, as seen through Fellini’s eyes, which turn it into a diva reflected and filmed in a cascade of water and stone: the Trevi Fountain.
It dramatizes and represents a metaphor that reconciles the interior imagery of a classic hotel with the urban landscape using Fellini’s surrealist narrative.
It represents a monumental fountain with four spouts using stone sinks and curtains. Magnifying mirrors invite us to approach the sinks and inspect them, playing with the reflection.
