FINSA – INTERIHOTEL 2022

The stand design for Interihotel 2022 is a metaphor for a loom in which wood becomes skin. This idea is inspired by the need to find a connection between nature, design, and mass production processes. The stand will be designed as a loom structure made of Finsa wood. The design uses Finsa wood to give a feeling of warmth and to emphasize the relationship between nature and design. The loom structure will be built with wood panels mounted on a metal substructure. The panels will be interconnected, forming a continuous surface. This surface will be interrupted by decorative elements placed between the panels. These decorative elements will add a touch of vitality to the design.

In the center of the stand, wooden elements will be placed so that visitors can gather and chat. This space will be surrounded by chairs and other furniture, such as a podium and some cushions, which will be used to create a welcoming atmosphere. In addition, the stand will be illuminated with LED lights located on the ceiling. These lights will add a touch of modernity to the design and will also be used to highlight the decorative elements. Finally, the stand will feature a digital screen that will be used to display content related to design and the furniture industry. A topography of uses in which wood, like a veil, shapes and welcomes them. Among this topography, the vegetation, ferns that remind us of the forests where this wood originated, bathed in a constant mist.
